Google Now will read your email to suggest creating calendar events

Google Assistant continues to improve week by week. A tool design to offer the user information and actions proactively . That is, almost automatically, learning from the user and presenting in the form of cards all the data it nes even before the user searches for it . Something that is really useful in practice, but for which an analysis of the user’s information is necessary , which can make the hairs on the back of the neck stand up for those most concern about their privacy email to suggest .

A good example of all this is the latest feature discover in Google Now . A tool that, for the moment, is in the experimental phase , so not all users will have it.

It is the possibility of receiving suggestions

to write down in the calendar any type of event that has been talk about or plann through the Gmail email service . A good option for the most absent-mind users who ne to write down all their appointments , but for which Google must go through the conversations held in the email messages.

At the moment, only some users are receiving these special cards that suggest creating an event in the user’s calendar. Thus, Google Now gives the option to set an appointment for a specific date , referring to an email address of the user. All this in the same card so that the user only has to accept or deny the action of writing down said appointment. A tool design to prevent this email to suggest  type of appointments or events that are sometimes plann in message chains from being forgotten . Or perhaps, to prevent the user from  ivory coast email list wasting their time looking for this information in Gmail .

To do this, Google Now scans and searches for messages and emails sent and receiv through Gmail , automatically detecting any notable date or place that may refer to an event or appointment. With all this information and an extract  ip telephony for business from the email where the suppos appointment is mention, Google Now creates the card and displays it on its main screen so that the user can automatically create or not the event in the calendar.

Despite the usefulness of this feature

it is possible that Google has decid to launch it in a minority way to test its acceptance among users. And the fact is that, despite the fact that the concept of pricting the nes and concerns of the user to present the information they  ao lists are looking for is very suctive , its practice can be scary. Even more so if to do so you ne  email to suggest to review private matters such as email messages. A useful point for the notifications of package deliveries or flight thatdelays Google Now already includes when checking Gmail, but that can be scary if what is being studi are personal messages. Data that does not have to leave Gmail or be read by people, only by machines .
